Acuvue Contact Lenses
Acuvue Contact Lenses are extended-wear lenses that
last you the whole week through.
ACUVUE® were the world's first disposable contact lenses, and
are made by Johnson & Johnson.
Acuvue contact lenses are tinted for ease of
handling but they won't change the color of your eye from
its natural look. The light tint they do have is simply to
help you find your Acuvue contact lenses when they're
submerged in lens solution.
Acuvue contacts contain an inside-out "AV" indicator to help
you insert them into your eye properly.
You just put the Acuvue lenses in, you use them day in and day
out, and then you throw them away seven days later. And, of
course, you can sleep in them if you want to!
The thin design of Acuvue contact lenses lets plenty of oxygen
get through to your eye, so you can safely wear them for long
periods.
Since Acuvue contact lenses are made mostly of water, they work
perfectly well with your natural eye fluids.
You can even use them as two-week daily-wear lenses ... You can
effectively double your usage time to two weeks - as long
as you take the lenses out each night.
Don't overdo it, because your eyes are so precious. Take the
lenses out every night before you go to sleep if you want to
make the contacts last for more than one week.
