Contact Lens Hand Soap
Contact lens hand soap is an important part of your care and cleanliness routine.
Wash and rinse your hands before handling any contact lenses. This is what keeps you from getting an eye
infection.
Your eye-care store will have special contact lens hand soap, but here's a secret... You can use ordinary
soap, but it is best to find plain soap that doesn't have any perfume or additives.
These smell nice, but they are what can irritate your eyes. So you are better off without the perfume.
Just remember, you eyes are very delecate body organs and you have to treat them with extreme care. And cleanliness
is your first line of defense.
Soap and water are your best allies when it comes to keeping your hands clean and grease-free, but if you don't
have soap and water available, then a pack of pre-moistened paper towelettes - or baby wipes - should do
fine.
