Prescription Free Contact Lenses
Prescription free contact lenses are lenses made to an 'average' eye shape. So they won't be something you want
to wear for long periods. These are not corrective lenses.
Prescription free contact lenses would be color lenses or theatrical lenses like for Halloween or special
effects in a movie close-up shot. Since everyone's eyeballs are slightly different in size and shape (even your
left eye is slightly different from your right eye) it's far better for the health of your eye to wear fitted
lenses only.
When you buy your prescription free contact lenses, what you get is a lens designed to fit an 'average' eye.
They're usually made to a prescription size of BC 8.6, and Diameter 14.5 or so. And that's that.
If you're lucky, your prescription free contact lenses will fit you acceptably well. It's best to only wear them
for short periods of time.
You can't return them though, because any used lens is a great way to pass infection from one eye to the next.
(For this reason you should never share lenses with anyone, ever.) Cosmetic Lenses.
